A Personal Update (And the Business Lesson I Want You to Hear)

Your Business Should Still Work When Life Doesn’t

This week’s newsletter is a little more personal than usual.

A week ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer - for the second time.

It’s still early days, and while I’m not going to go into all the details just yet, I wanted to share it with you - not for sympathy, but because it’s reminded me why I run my business the way I do.

When life throws you sideways, your business should be able to stay standing.

That’s why I’m passionate about systems.

Why I teach automation.

Why I bang on about creating recurring revenue and not being tied to every single task.

Because your time, your energy, your health - might one day need to be somewhere else.

And when that moment comes, your business can either be a source of stability…

Or a source of stress.

So here’s your reflection prompt this week:

👉 If you had to step away for a month - what in your business would still run?

What would fall apart?

You don’t need to fix it all overnight. But you do need to know where the cracks are.

Because life doesn’t always give you a heads-up.

I’ll be sharing more about what this journey looks like - both the personal bits and the behind-the-scenes pivots I’ll be making.

But for now, just know I’m still here.

And I’ve got you.
